divi 5 — where we stand
our compatibility plan for divi 5 across divipeople, divitorque, and the wider divi line.
divi 5 is the biggest release elegant themes has ever shipped — a full rewrite of the page builder on modern foundations. for plugin builders like us, it’s the most consequential moment in the divi ecosystem in a decade.
here’s where we stand.
our commitment
every active product in the divipeople and divitorque lines will be divi 5 compatible. that’s the floor. we’ve been tracking the divi 5 alpha and beta tracks for over a year, and we’re already shipping updates for several plugins.
we’re not racing to be the first plugin badge on the divi 5 marketplace — we’re aiming to be the most reliable. a small delay to get a migration path right is worth more to us than a launch-day post.
what’s done, what’s next
- already updated. the core modules in divitorque, and the most-used divipeople plugins (divi blog pro, divi carousel pro, divi social plus). these are running cleanly against the latest divi 5 builds.
- in progress. the long tail of divipeople plugins, plus the divitorque extension packs. updates are landing month by month.
- next. a published compatibility matrix on each product site, so you can see exactly which version of each plugin works against which version of divi.
if you’re a customer
your existing license is enough. divi 5 updates are free for active license holders on every product — nothing extra to buy.
if you run into a divi 5 issue with any of our plugins, write to the product team directly, or reach out to me at hi@plugpress.co and i’ll route it.
